Aaron Michael Heilman is a starting candidate currently in the Chicago Cubs bullpen. He made his MLB debut for the New York Mets in 2003, and went 2-7 with a 6.75 ERA in 14 games. In 2004, he went 1-3 with a 5.46 ERA in 5 games. In 2005, he went 5-3 with a 3.17 ERA in 53 games. In 2006, he went 4-5 with a 3.62 ERA in 74 games. In 2007, Heilman went 7-7 with a 3.03 ERA in 81 games. In 2008, he went 3-8 with a 5.21 ERA in 78 games. That offseason, the Mets traded Heilman to the Seattle Mariners.
